On February 10th it will be Chinese New Year. There are signs all over Shanghai and people traveling home to be with their families. Can you guess what 2013 is the year of?
We came to Shanghai and ended up directly across from the Bund. Very beautiful and a pretty nice day too.
Here is my bowl of soup from a stall that sells only soup. Soup with or without pork. Some sort of Japenese pickles or Kim chee (I know my spelling is wrong on this one).
Took the train to Nara. Right in the middle of the city is a big park with free roaming deer. The people believe they some sort of spirit and can roam free. This sign was funny.
Not sure how to say that I spent the equivalent of ten U.S. dollars to spend an hour with roaming cats at a place called Calico Cat Cafe in Tokyo. Nuff said.
Our welcome to Yokohama. Beautiful Mt. Fuji. Lovely clear day. Band playing. Water spray and crowd to welcome our ship.
Look for an update coming soon with pictures. We make land tomorrow in Shanghai and I am looking forward to some good internet that will upload my photos and short videos. First thing though is a Chinese foot message (best in the world!)
